Delete your account
Two ways in, and exactly the same deletion at the end of both.
From inside the app — immediately
- Open tandu and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete my profile.
- Confirm.
You have 30 days. Deletion is carried out after them, and signing back in during that window cancels it — everything comes back exactly as it was. After 30 days it is final.
If you cannot get into the app
Fill in the form and we will do it for you. The request goes into our queue, and we answer to the address you give.
Signed up with "Sign in with Apple"? If you chose Hide My Email
there, the address on your account with us is Apple's forwarding address — something like
something@privaterelay.appleid.com, not your own email. You can find it on
your device under Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with
Apple → tandu. That is the address to enter here.
What is deleted, what stays
Deleted: your name, phone number, email, date of birth, photos, profile, and everything said in your conversations — the conversations included.
What stays is an empty record carrying no identifying detail, so the other side of a match keeps a coherent history, and the record that you consented to the terms — that proof has to outlive the deletion. The full table-by-table detail is in the privacy policy.
An active subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel tandu Plus. Cancel that with the store you bought through — App Store or Google Play.
Prefer email? privacy@tandu.me does exactly the same thing.
